Is This The End Of ADV?

Because you are going to be without new episodes for awhile, I will try to update with blog posts when possible. I just came across this story about ADV removing titles from their website. These are some pretty big titles like Gurren Lagann, Kanon, Sergeant Frog, and many more. ADV has not said anything about this yet and the titles are still missing from the site. I would love to say that ADV is facing it’s last days but from this story I’m not so sure. I want to see ADV go under to be honest. They are my least favorite american company and I can’t stand them and Mr. Greenfield. ADV has made so many contradicting statements I stopped trusting them a long time ago and look upon them as an enemy if anything. Do you think ADV is going to go under or is it just ADV cutting back on costs?

personally iv never had a problem with adv. iv enjoyed the quality of there dvd releases for years now and the cast they us. now i havent been fallowing there news and site stuff at all so im sure u know more about them then i do, but as for there dvd releases iv been very happy and would be sad to see them fall and as from what i under stand they were a big part of getting anime in to bestbuy store's. and that has been great for me and all the anime fan's i know. as much as i like to support my local anime store's paying $10 more for a dvd is just not cake.

now recently going threw bestbuy i have noticed some changes in the anime department. 1 there has been much less adv titles out, funimation seems to be rockin hard. iv also noticed that anime works has been trying some new thing. iv been seeing lots of subed only dvd's for really great price's. such as girls high, green green, and princess princess for $20 [complete series] strawberry panic and simoun for $15 a dvd with like 6-9 ep's each. now yes they dont have dubs, but most of these show's are more of a nich audience and probably wouldnt have very good dubs any way, and its nice to see some yuri out there after years of seeing so much yaoi floating around. with the lose of adv that would mean the lose of more competition and thats not going to help with pricing. i dont think i can handle bandai taking on to many more tittles. there prices are already to high and im really getting tired of hearing johnny young bash in lead role's. GET SOME NEW ACTOR'S BANG ZOOM!!!.
anyway i dont think its looking to good for adv, but im not really sure about there heath at this moment. it looks like u might get your wish benu.
